Elina has been working as a foreign language teacher at Konnevesi schools for about 10 years. Her students are 10-16 years old. She teaches English, German and Swedish. The size of her groups varies from 6-17.

“I often use Blooket when we practise or revise vocabulary to a certain topic. There are many games created by other Finnish teachers using the same teaching materials, which often makes searching quite quick and easy.

The games can either be played together, led by the teacher in the classroom or they can be assigned as homework and shared via a link to the students. The students can also create their own free accounts but that is not necessary.”
